The Hot Shots 10U Ferreira team took 2nd Place Runner-Up at the USSSA Last Chance @ Big League Dreams Tournament that took place on June 23 - 24, 2012 at the Big League Dreams complex in Manteca, CA.  The girls started out slowly on Saturday going 1 win 2 losses in Pool Play but kicked it into high gear on Sunday beating the #1 seeded San Lorenzo Heat and AGBYSL Sting and making it into the championship game versus TABU.  Both teams featured outstanding pitching and defense and the game went all 7 innings with TABU edgeing out the Hot Shots 5 - 3.  The 10U Ferreira team had a very nice month of June playing in three tournaments this month making the championship game in two of them.  The team played some great softball throughout the month and ls ready to end out the last couple tournament of the season strong.
